PokerStars European Poker Tour Season 8 has added new stops to the schedule and online poker players will be playing for seats in three more exciting locations: Madrid, Spain; Berlin, Germany; and Campione, Italy. All three have €5,000 + €300 main events and many side events.
“We’re delighted that the EPT will be returning to two major capital cities in Europe, both of which have proved to be highly popular locations in recent years,” EPT President Edgar Stuchly said.
“We’re also very excited that the tour is for the first time heading to the highly exclusive region of Campione in Italy, further extending the reach of the EPT.”
The Casino Gran Madrid Torrelodones hosted last year's EPT finale and this year will host EPT Madrid from March 12th through 17th.
Casino di Campione in Campione, Italy, has been a regular stop on the PokerStars.it Italian Poker Tour and is the next stop in the PokerStars EPT schedule - running March 26th through 31st. It's on the shore of Lake Lugano in the Como-Milan region in an exclusive enclave.
Returning in the Season 8 schedule is EPT Berlin; making this the third time the tour visited the German capital. Ben Wilinofsky won the 2011 EPT Berlin and Kevin MachPhee took it down in 2010.
