Bally Technologies announced their acquisition of France based gaming operator Chiligaming's business-to-business platform on February 23rd, 2012. This deal will allow the incorporation of Chiligaming's solution for bingo, casino, online poker, social media and sports betting into Bally's existing management system that includes slot machines and casino.
The option of performing multichannel promotions, bonusing, and player-tracking across Bally Technologies mobile, traditional, and online platforms is made possible by the acquisition although terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition provides an open, cloud-based platform for Bally Technologies to offer an integrated traditional and online casino solution to operators worldwide,” said John Connelly, vice president of business development at Bally Technologies. “Equally as important, Bally Technologies has also obtained an experienced team of industry veterans from within the online gaming industry, which will help our customers optimize their use of this platform.”
“I’m very proud of this agreement between our two companies,” added Chiligaming founder and CEO Alexandre Dreyfus in a press release. “We are excited to develop our technology, knowledge, and experience with Bally to bring the best value for land-based casinos.”
Just a few weeks ago Chiligaming made the announcement of a partnership with the Golden Nugget; part of the deal includes Chiligaming launching a free play online poker site at some point in the next quarter for the Golden Nugget. Ever since Black Friday Chiligaming has worked very hard at enhancing brand recognition in the U.S. while already maintaining a strong market presence in both the U.K. and France.
