PartyPoker has it – the players, the poker competition, the goods – the whole damned lineup is just ahead, ready to amaze you, impress you, and show you poker competition stacked.

First the PartyPoker Premier League V in Vienna will kick off from April 4th through the 10th. The player lineup can't be beat, confirmed are Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Phil "The Unabomber" Laak, Daniel "Jungleman" Cates, and they'll be joining Tony G, Luke Schwartz, Patrik Antonius, Vanessa Selbst, Andy Frankenberger, and Sam Trickett. Hey, it's only a $125,000 buy-in event, did you expect anything less?

The PartyPoker Premier League V press release states the event will “feature 16 players split up into two groups of eight in the Main Event, each competing in four league matches showcasing the famous point system ($2,000 per point). The top three from each group will automatically go through to the final table, while the fourth and fifth seeds will square off in a series of heads-up matches (best of three) for spots in the eight-handed finale. This WPT special event boasts a massive $200,000 added for the final table and awards the winner with entry into the $25,500 2012 WPT World Championship, running 19th to 26th May at Bellagio in Las Vegas.”

SkySports will air four hours of each heat in the UK and follow it up with international distribution. Matchroom Sports produces the coverage with Kara Scott presenting it for your viewing pleasure.

Another part of the poker stack is the €3,200+€300 World Poker Tour Vienna Main Event presented by PartyPoker. The WPT Vienna will follow the Premier League from April 10th—15th. The PartyPoker Big Game VI runs from the 11th—13th. The Big Game VI spreads 48 hours of poker entertainment and will be televised; running right in the middle of the WPT Vienna Main Event.

Not only will the PartyPoker Premier League V feature all your favorite poker stars, but two players will be given the opportunity to qualify through satellites and play the event! Satellites are running right now in the PartyPoker lobby until midnight on March 18th. The satellites will give $13,000 packages to the Premier League qualification rounds! There are nine packages and each package consists of the following:

  • A $10,450 seat to the televised Premier League playoffs where two players walk away with $125,000 buy-ins to the Premier League Poker V Final!
  • Four nights of luxury accommodation in Vienna
  • $1,350 in spending money

When Phil Laak confirmed his participation in the PartyPoker Premier League V, he told the PartyPoker Blog “The Big Game, Premier League, and a WPT event all in one place and all at one time?!?! Vienna here we come! The Big Game is a 48-hour cash game you say? Well then, I had better stay up for two days before we get started — otherwise it just wouldn’t be fair.”

PokerNews will provide an exclusive live stream of the PartyPoker Big Game VI. For the second straight year viewers can enjoy all the action just by tuning into PokerNews.

Visit PartyPoker to put yourself in action and start playing for one of those phenomenal packages where you could stack a $13,000 package that could send you to the Premier League Poker V Final with a $125,000 buy-in.
