Get Ready for the next PokerStars $5,000 Freeroll

PokerStars is hosting the next $5,000 Freeroll tournament of the $67,500 freeroll series tomorrow, the 21st, and you are more than welcome to join. To play this high-value freeroll you need to sign up at PokerStars through PokerWorks and make your first deposit to receive a ticket to the $5K freeroll taking place this Wednesday. There are still six tournaments to go that will reward a total of $30K in free cash, plus another $7,500 given away to the top 15 players with the most leaderboard points.

However, if you're already a PokerStars player and a PokerWorks’ referred player, you need at least 20 VIP Player Points (VPP) in your account generated during the freeroll qualification period which was March 12th through 18th in order to play. If you have met the point requirement, then you should receive your tournament ticket shortly and be able to compete for the $5,000 prize pool this Wednesday, March 21st at 14:00 EDT (19:00 GMT).

However, if you haven't collected the required amount of points during the qualification period – don't worry, start playing PokerStars cash games and tournaments now – earn 20 points before March 25th and you will receive a ticket to the next $5,000 freeroll running on March 28th.

The $5,000 prize pool is not the only reason for playing the tournaments; the top 30 finishers are also rewarded with leaderboard points. By winning the freeroll one does not only score the biggest cash prize, but earns 100 leaderboard points as well. At the end of the promo, the top 15 players with the most points will share the extra $7,500 in cash.

Points are awarded as follows in each weekly $5,000 freeroll:

The player that collects the most leaderboard points during the three-month promo period will receive the biggest share of the $7,500 prize pool – $1,500 in cash. The leaderboard payouts start at $50 and go all the way up to the main cash prize. PokerStars will reward 15 players with extra cash as soon as the last $67,500 freeroll series' tournament finishes on April 25th.
