Is the US Department of Justice preparing a deal that would drop criminal charges against Isai Scheinberg, PokerStars owner/founder? Of course it would be for a price...that's what it was all about to begin with, right?

Charges to be dropped against PokerStars' Isai Scheinberg?
Rumors race around the mainstream of the world, it's a hear everything, expect nothing system; a big one in hyper-drive right now is that Isai Scheinberg will have all criminal charges brought against him by the US Department of Justice on Black Friday dropped. A deal is in the works according to the rumor and Scheinberg will pay a personal fine somewhere in the neighborhood of the one that PokerStars recently paid to settle civil charges which were filed on Black Friday.
It's said that when Scheinberg finally lays down his pen, he will have signed over a billion dollars in checks to the DoJ. Then it's business as usual - on both sides of the fence.

Deeb Way - or is it the Deeb's Way?
espn.go.com has a video named "The Keys To Ellen Deeb's Poker Game" in which Ellen states that she started playing poker when she was five or six. She likes the competition of playing against someone and beating them.
She says you have to know how to read your cards and you have to know how to bluff... So far we agree with her on all points. Watch the video here.

New York Judge Rules Poker a Skill Game
We reported it early a.m. on the 22nd in our News Flash and we completely agree with Federal District Court Judge Jack Weinstein's decision.
"In poker," he wrote, "increased proficiency boosts a player's chance of winning and affects the outcome of individual hands as well as a series of hands. Expert poker players draw on an array of talents, including facility with numbers, knowledge of human psychology, and powers of observation and deception."
The whole world is writing about it; we are jumping for joy over it - and under it - and all around it - and through the middle of it. We want online poker legalized, safe and secure, and licensed in the United States.
