Super Poker Sunday - Mark "RenRad 01" Darner Wins Event #5 WCOOP

Poker players from all over the world have their scopes sighted in on The 2012 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). The WCOOP took off on Sunday and the millions of dollars in prizes that will be won over the three-week series have $ signs dancing in everyone's head. One of the early winners was Poker pro Mark "RenRad 01" Darner taking home more than $144,000 for his victory in Event #5. "ASIAAN" took home the biggest prize so far when he collected $231,221 for winning Event #2.

Other notables that made final tables in WCOOP events were Kevin "KevBoyStar" Stani, Hiren "hustla16" Patel, Steve "gboro780" Gross, Ami "UhhMee" Barer, and Ben "ShankingYou" Palmer.

The two-day $215 No-Limit Hold'em six-max tournament was The first event of the World Championship of Online Poker. Attracting more than 7,300 players, it built a prize pool of $1,464,400.

With four players left, they made a deal which gave each a six-figure payday. Argentina's "ezepoker90" reigned supreme and locked up $184,388.82 and the first WCOOP bracelet of the 2012 series.
