Is it true? We've only managed to capture an earful but not an eyeful so you'll have to decide.
The Aussie Millions just found a winner in the $250,000 Challenge, we love Sam and we aren't sure why, we just do. Which Sam? Read on!

Sen. Harry Reid and John Pappas named by Jeremy Johnson
According to pocketfives.com the greedy trail of treachery and deceit jumps into the light of day in an article published at Pokerfuse.com on Thursday, January 1st, that links Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) to a nasty little seven-figure bribery scheme that would push online poker legislation through Congress.
Apparently Pokerfuse.com and the Salt Lake City Tribune have access to a taped conversation between Utah Attorney General John Swallow and Jeremy Johnson, online poker payment processor, that points fingers at Reid and John Pappas, Poker Players Alliance Executive Director.
This time around, Johnson told Swallow, "I'll tell you this. We had a meeting with Reid where he said - this was a private meeting - it was Reid, it was me, it was, you remember John Pappas? Remember him? Poker Players Alliance guy?" Also allegedly at the meeting was Full Tilt Poker CEO Ray Bitar. According to Johnson, Reid said at the meeting, "Look, I've polled my constituents. They don't like online poker. Bottom line. It's bad for jobs here in Las Vegas. But, I'm going to back what you guys are doing here. I'm going to introduce a bill for you."

Sam Trickett wins LK Jewelry $250,000 Challenge
Sam Trickett just took down the $250,000 Challenge at the 2013 Aussie Millions. The top four players got paid out of a field of 18 high rollers. Trickett started the final table as one of the short stacks but his double through Tobias Reinkemeier turned the tide and he became unstoppable.

Fantasy Poker Manager
Fantasy Poker can bring out some massive bets during big poker festivals like the World Series of Poker. It also takes a massive amount of work to compile the data and total the scores. The Global Poker Index took the stress out and put the fun back in gambling by launching the GPI Fantasy Poker Manager on Facebook.
Not familiar with how Fantasy Poker is played? We like to fantasize about big scores in our poker game and that's one version of Fantasy Poker but the gist of it is that you receive a specific budget amount and you pick a number of poker players and then pray they go into 'run-good' mode. When your poker players finish in money places of real poker events, you receive points; finish with the most points and you win.

"the Siren" of Poker graces Team Ivey
Team Ivey is busy, busy, busy, bringing in new players and getting ready to teach us all how to play poker the right way. The latest addition to the team is "the Siren" of poker herself, Christina Lindley. She's described as a professional poker player and femme fatale and "is assuming her rightful position among the elite team of top poker players partnered with Team Ivey."
Lindley is not to be underestimated according to PhilIvey.com because her "southern sweetness and Maxim-model beauty"
will make all the guys just lay down and roll over is the "perfect ruse to captivate, and ultimately defeat, her opponents."
Read PhilIvey.com for updates but we're more impressed with the fact that Dan Shak and Patrik Antonius are both still in the Aussie Millions Main Event and the final table is down to six. Read the live reporting here.
