There's more to the $67,500 PokerStars Freeroll Series than the $5,000 that's up for grabs every week for 12 weeks. Each time you play one of the $5,000 Freerolls, you also have a chance to earn leaderboard points. The top 30 finishers in each weekly freeroll will receive between 5 and 100 points according to their finishing position. The 15 top players with the most points at the end of the series will win a share of $7,500.

Two freerolls ran in this series on February 27th due to PokerStars experiencing a technical problem with the February 20th freeroll which was cancelled. The freeroll started with 1,081 players with 234 making it into the money. A min-cash was worth $5.00 in this tournament, a final table appearance paid $50.00, and the champion took home $800.00. "joso76" of Croatia defeated Bulgaria's "kras80" heads up to take home the first place prize and 100 leaderboard points.

The second $5,000 freeroll brought 866 players to the battle and what a battle it was, lasting for almost seven hours. "sajt@4" burst the money bubble and sent the remaining 180 players into the money positions. "win51888" of China took home the $722.62 first-place prize after chopping with India's "Ulti_1mate" in the heads-up battle at the end.
