Nevada scores another first in the online poker landscape with the first legal, regulated real-money online poker tournament playing out on Sunday at Ultimate Poker's inaugural multi-table tournament had a $100 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000 with a 200-player cap; before the first hand was dealt on Sunday evening the event was full.

The top 27 players shared a total prize pool of $18,200 and "d4heals," took down first place for $4,173 and now is the only poker player in the world who can lay claim to being the first to win a tournament in Nevada's legalized online poker market AND also in the United States.

Results from Ultimate Poker's first multi-table tournament:

8Tim Garbagio$748

Sunday night also found a $1,000 guaranteed nightly tournament with a $50 buy-in bringing 75 players to the starting gate for a total prize pool of $3,412. "MikeyMillz" won this one and took home $1,091.

Every Sunday at 6 p.m. PST the $10,000 Sunday event puts the finishing touches on a week of poker — look for daily satellites that can put you in a seat free. On May 26th a $10,000 Freeroll kicks off where the top three finishers get paid and everyone can play the daily $100 freerolls and a daily Staycation freeroll where winners can receive a VIP Staycation in Las Vegas at any Station Casino property.

Ultimate Poker dealt its 300,000th cash game hand on Monday, May 6th, 2013, after opening the doors less than a week ago when it became the first-ever regulated online poker room in the United States.
