The WSOP is bringing back the Carnivale of Poker which ran from 1998-2000 and at one time held the role of being the second biggest poker event in the world. The 21-event series is scheduled to run on Mondays and Tuesdays during the 2013 WSOP.
The Series will offer many options with events in Hold'em, Omaha, Chinese Poker, and H.O.R.S.E. and runs alongside the 2013 WSOP. An added feature is a special point system that will give players the chance to earn points for an overall leader board — $100,000 in prizes are up for grabs!
Event winners will take home cash and a specially designed diamond and gold medallion. And $100,000 will be paid to the top 10-point earners during the Carnivale of Poker.

With the Carnivale of Poker and the Rio Daily Deepstacks running along with bracelet events and satellites, the WSOP has the bases covered for all bankroll levels and player-designed-game-plans. The lower buy-in events can shoot you right into bigger events — and more of them — where anything is possible! Let Nick Jivkov be your inspiration in that area. After landing in Vegas on May 29th, Jivkov won the $235 Daily Deepstack event for $21,200 later that day. The next day he parlayed his win into another win — and took home gold along with $189,818.
