$67,500 PokerWorks PokerStars Freeroll Series Results!

PokerStars $67,500 Freeroll Series
Share this

Hundreds of PokerWorks' players made the $67,500 PokerWorks PokerStars Freeroll Series a complete success at PokerStars where 12 exclusive $5,000 freerolls and a massive $7,500 leaderboard saw a staggering $60,000 in cash handed out.

The series found a number of players tied with the same number of points; we hoped to give you the full results of the leader board sooner but the results of every tied player had to be sorted through to determine the true leader board.

Guidelines were established at the beginning of this awesome promotion to resolve ties on number of points earned once the 12 freerolls were completed. Those guidelines were:

  • Should two players be tied on the same number of points, the player who had played in the most freerolls would be declared the higher points earner. For example, Player A and player B have 100 points each. Player A has played 12 freerolls, while Player B only played in 10. Therefore, Player A is the winner.
  • Should the players still be tied after this, the player with the most victories would be declared the higher points earner.
  • This process will be repeated for second place, third place, and so on, if required.

PokerWorks sends hearty congratulation to the winner of the $67,500 PokerWorks PokerStars Freeroll Series leaderboard, Portugal's “PTAlves," who added an additional $1,500 to his PokerStars' bankroll! PTAlves didn't play the first five freerolls but made up for lost time with the final seven tournaments he played. He won the seventh scheduled tournament and finished fourth in Week 9 to accumulate 175 points.

PTAlves scrapped and clawed all the way to the end with “krzychuksu” of Poland and “kras80” of Bulgaria finishing right behind on 135 points. krzychuksu played all 12 freerolls and finished second; kras80 played in 11 of them, missing only Week 3.

skiple” of Moldova, “ChipsFool” of the United Kingdom, “tomboy9991” of Finland and “T-Wienen” of Brazil, deserve special mention as all ended with 100 points but missed out on prize money due to the special guidelines established for separating the players tied on equal points.
