After Antanas 'Tony G' Guoga plays his heart out in the inaugural International Stadiums Poker Tour (ISPT) event in Wembley, London, he will take his ‘heart and commitment’ to a spot west of the British capital and headline the special 'Oxford Cup Warm-Up event with Tony G' as he tries to take down the tournament.

This exclusive tournament will kick off the 'Oxford Cup X' which will take place on Sunday, June 9th, and feature a £50 No Limit Hold'em event. The Oxford University Poker Society hosts the event and attracts around 300 players every year.

The event previously had seen the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Greg Raymer, Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot and Gus Hansen play as the guests of honor. This year it’s all about The G and his poker game as the 'Oxford Cup' welcomes the one-and-only who talks about a bike for his opponents to ride home on after he busts them out of a tournament — Antanas 'Tony G' Guoga.

TonyBet Team Pro member Tony G announced the news through Facebook on Wednesday afternoon. “After the ISPT I am going to a very special event at Oxford University on Tuesday night as a special guest of the Oxford University Poker Federation and warm the players up for the Oxford Cup X. Heart, commitment and time to see if they have qualified!”

According to Oxford University Poker Society spokesman Joe Barnard, the 'Oxford Cup' was initially set up to provide a unique opportunity for students to meet and play against the pros and celebrity guests without having to step up to the huge entrance fees of some of the larger poker events. Barnard said the entire Oxford student poker community was very excited to welcome Tony G as this year's tournament guest of honor.
