$50 Million Settlement Reached between PokerStars CEO Mark Scheinberg and US Government

Mark Scheinberg, (son of PokerStars' founder Isai Scheinberg), who is the current PokerStars CEO, reached an agreement with the Southern District of New York where the "full and final resolution of any claims by the United States” against PokerStars are resolved with a forfeiture of $50 million.

The court document was filed on June 11th, 2013 and reads: "This consent Order of Forfeiture shall in no way be deemed an admission of any wrongdoing, culpability, liability, or guilt on behalf of Mark Scheinberg or any of his respective agents or employees, past and present."
