The 100 Billion Hand Celebration at PokerStars is paying, are you playing?

PokerStars 100 Billion Hands
Share this

PokerStars recently gave away hundreds of thousands of dollars to players when the 90 billion hands milestone was on deck. More money than ever before is on the table as the Road to 100 Billion continues to build a virtual card highway through the universe when the magical 100 billion hand mark is reached — that hand is expected to hit on June 14th.

100,000,000,000 poker hands!

Soon that number will hit and PokerStars — the only online poker site that is even close to dealing that number of hands — is giving you a shot to get in on some spectacular prizes. Hurry to the celebration if you want a chance at the 100 billionth hand!

The Million Dollar Hand

PokerStars is giving away cash prizes to players every millionth hand from hand #99,700,000,000 onwards, just like the other milestone hands on the road to 100 Billion. Get dealt into a milestone hand and win a minimum of $75 although prizes are expected to be much higher than that since PokerStars uses a special formula to generate the prize. That formula:

  • Dealt into a milestone hand: (No. of VPPs in last 50 hands x $675) +$75
  • Win milestone hand: (No. VPPs in last 50 hands x $75+$75) x2

Example: If you were playing at a $1/$2 table and were dealt into a milestone hand having generated 31VPPs in the last 50 hands, your prize would be $2,400 (31*$75+$75). If you won the milestone hand, your prize would have doubled to $4,800!

When the 100 billionth hand has been reached, the prizes become astronomical. If you're dealt into the 100 billionth hand, you will win a minimum of $10,000 while the winner of the famous hand will see no less than $100,000 placed into their PokerStars' account!

There is more!

PokerStars is guaranteeing $1,000,000 will be paid out during the 100 billionth hand so any prize money that is left over after paying out the players dealt into hand number 100 billion will be paid to all the players that were dealt into the same stake and betting format as the 100 billionth hand!

World Record Tournament

The 100 billionth hand is so important to PokerStars that the celebration continues even after that milestone hand has been dealt and everyone is screaming with joy and stacking the cash!

PokerStars is running a tournament on June 16th with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool and an entry fee of $1. PokerStars is hoping more than 225,000 players will join the tournament in a Guinness World Record attempt. Get ready to be part of poker history and play for bragging rights and CA$H!

Zoom in on the celebration

The 100 billion hands celebration continues with the introduction of the first-ever $1 million guaranteed Zoom tournament. Taking place at 13:00ET on June 23rd, the Zoom 100 has an entry fee of $100+$9 and will see a minimum of $1,000,000 in prize money with $100,000 earmarked for the winner. Get your Zoom on today!

Zoom & BOOM!

You could win up to $100 when you share a Zoom hand with PokerStars' BOOM player. PokerStars Pros Liv Boeree, Daniel Negreanu and Lex Veldhius will select the greatest hands ever played on PokerStars from the videos you've sent. When the hands have been selected, get ready to play Zoom Poker and if your hole cards, including suit, match one of the special hands — and you share the hand on the BOOM player — you will win 100 times your big blind up to $100!

Golden Sit & Gos

Between June 17th-23rd, you could find your Sit & Go turn to GOLD in a special Golden Sit & Go tournament. Real-money sit & go tournaments will be selected at random by PokerStars and the payout will be much more than the usual prize money for that tournament.

Some tournaments will have their prize pool doubled, some quadrupled and some will have the prize pool multiplied ten-fold! PokerStars is hoping to give away a minimum of $1,000,000 to sit & go players during this promotion.

$1 Million Ultimate Freeroll

The 100 billionth hand celebrations bring the curtain down with a special $1,000,000 freeroll where the winner will walk away with $50,000!

The Ultimate Freeroll is by ticket-only, but that part is easy! Get your ticket by making a deposit of $50 or more with the bonus code “ULTIMATE” to get a seat in the Ultimate Freeroll.
