Erick Lindgren swooped in to win Event 32 $5,000 No Limit Hold'em (Six Handed) less than a month after he finished second at the World Poker Tour Championship at Bellagio. Lindgren fought his way through the starting field of 516 to win $606,317 and pick up another WSOP bracelet — his first since 2008.

1Erick Lindgren$606,317
2Lee Markholt$374,960
3Jonathan Little$238,833
4Connor Drinan$157,274
5Vasile Buboi$106,830
6Ryan D'Angelo$74,768

Lindgren started the final day seventh in chips out of 14 returning players but he went to work and when the final table was reached, he was the chip leader. The six-handed final table played down to Lee Markholt and Erick Lindgren battling it out for the bracelet and the biggest chunk of cash.

On the final hand Lindgren limped on the button, Markholt checked, and the board brought the {9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{a-Spades}. Markholt bet 110,000, but Lindgren raised to 275,000.

Markholt suddenly announced that he was all-in for his last 915,000. Lindgren snap-called and stood up, tabling {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}; his wife, Erica and the rail exploded.

Markholt shook his head and turned over the {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for bottom two pair. Markholt shook hands with Lindgren when the {7-Spades} hit the turn, and the {5-Hearts} on the river just quietly finished the deal.

Erick Lindgren won his second bracelet and the first place prize of $606,317 — congratulations Erick!
