The final day of Event #36 $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Shootout started with 12 players, all in the hunt for a bracelet and the $326,440 first place prize. When the shooting stopped and the smoke cleared, it was Simeon Naydenov's smoking gun that ended the action to give him the game, the bracelet, and the winner's cash.

1Simeon Naydenov$326,440

Naydenov had to first win two tables to make it to Day 3 and then beat 11 others to win the title. His 11th battle headed to a strong finish when he took 4.075 million to Schwartz's 1.3 million to begin heads-up play.

The 10th hand of heads-up action, with the blinds at 15,000/30,000/5,000, Schwartz raised to 60,000 from the button, Naydenov called from the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}. Naydenov checked, and Schwartz bet 55,000. Naydenov raised to 150,000, and Schwartz raised to 455,000. Naydenov moved all-in, and Schwartz called.

Naydenov had a flopped flush {K-Spades}{8-Spades}. Schwartz held top two with the {A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and needed help to stay alive. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn and the {2-Hearts} on the river gave Naydenov the tournament, and the gold bracelet!
