The 2013 WSOP had already recorded Loni Harwood's two final table appearances but it took Event 60 $1,500 No Limit Hold'em for her to win her first WSOP bracelet. Harwood is now in third place on the WSOP Player of the Year leader board with her previous cashes.

Harwood also became the second woman to win a bracelet in an open event at the 2013 World Series — Dana Castaneda won Event #54: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em. Only three women have emerged victorious in open events since 2008: Harwood, Castaneda, and Vanessa Selbst.

Sunday's final day started with 15 but it took less than a level for the final table draw. And then there were two:

Yongshuo Zheng raised to 215,000. Harwood called from the big blind.

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Harwood checked, Zheng fired 250,000. Harwood called.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and both players checked. On the {10-Spades} river, Harwood sent out a big bet of 600,000. After a few seconds, Zheng announced that he was all-in and Harwood snap called.

Zheng had broadway — {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}, but Harwood hit the river hard when she made a full house with her {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Loni Harwood won $609,017 and her first WSOP bracelet, which adds to her already shining trophy case of two Circuit rings. Congratulations Loni!
