A real-money, downloadable Mac poker client will be available soon at 888poker and players can expect to begin beta testing the software this week.

An “instant play” real-money poker game has been available within the 888poker Mac browser for many years now. Look for everything available in the popular PC client to be available in the new downloadable version — including multi-tabling and hand histories.
The 888poker representative says the option to play the "instant play" version will still be available on the Mac.
A brand new version of 888poker's mobile app was unveiled recently where players can play for real money.
Stakes range from $0.01/$0.02 up to $3/$6 in No Limit Hold'em cash games, and sit-and-go tournaments are running that play two, six, or nine players with stakes starting at $1 and going as high as $55. The update allows players who use their iPhone or Android device to also play multi-table tournaments (MTTs).
According to PokerScout.com, 888poker is ranked as the fourth largest poker network in the world. The online poker site standings are PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and iPoker; the average cash game players per day at 888poker is about 2,000 with another 350 in its Spanish market.
888poker could be expanding its offerings in the United States market this year. A launch with Caesars Interactive Entertainment is pending — along with other operators in Nevada — in which 888-branded poker and casino products will be offered in New Jersey when the iGaming market launches.
888poker will also provide Internet gaming services in Delaware which passed legislation in June 2012.
"We are extremely well positioned in the U.S. and are working with the regulators in Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey as these three states become ready to open,” said 888 Holdings CEO Brian Mattingley in a press release this week.
