Tran has a long-standing poker career with lifetime earnings of over $9,000,000 and holds two World Series of poker bracelets — 2008 WSOP Event #49 $1,500 No Limit Hold'em - $631,170, and 2009 WSOP Event #30 $2,500 Pot Limit Omaha - $235,685. He also took down the 2004/2005 WSOPC Rio Las Vegas $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event for $97,470 to claim his WSOP Circuit ring. Tran also has played and conquered in the World Poker Tour, the year 2007 found him finishing runner-up to Eric Hershler in February in the L.A. Poker Classic Main Event - $1,177,010, winning the WPT $5,000 World Poker Challenge in Reno - $683,473, and taking home the title in the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic $5,000 No Limit Hold'em - $523,075. Tran also won the 2006 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event - $670,194.
JC will represent 888poker exclusively in live events and online and will play the upcoming WPT events in Florida; then his tentative tournament schedule (as of the news release) is the World Series of Poker Europe held in Paris, France in October where he’ll fight for a bracelet with the rest of the Team 888poker ambassadors.
