The Players Poker Championship Aruba World Championship is set to rock the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa from October 2nd through the 9th. The PPC has eight events on the menu and promises to be a true poker vacation in paradise in 2013. There are already 60 confirmed satellite entrants set to compete in the $200,000 guarantee Main Event and of those confirmed are top pros — Joe Serock, Ronnie Bardah, Aaron Massey, and Kevin Saul.
According to a report up at PokerNews.com, over 100 players have already reserved their hotel rooms for the event and that means the $200,000 guarantee should be on the low side of the prize pool offered for the main event.
Of course you want to bring your better half, family, and friends because Aruba has much to offer and once you survive all the partying on Thursday, October 3rd, at the Gusto VIP Party at the Gusto Aruba Bar from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. local time, you'll be good to go on visiting the high spots in Aruba. The Gusto VIP Party has a special designated VIP area upstairs and you'll get to rub elbows with host and former World Poker Tour Player of the Year, Serock! Don't miss it!
Then it's time to get out and hit the incredible beaches where soft white sand and crystal clear Caribbean water meet; prepare to enjoy living on island time and stretch the kinks out of your everyday grind.
If you feel the need for speed, jump right into the adventure of high-speed tubing out across the Caribbean or curb your claustrophobia and take a dive in the Atlantis Submarines that will take you down to depths of up to 130 fee where you can view the Aruba marine life at an up-close-and-personal level...theirs.
These kids are always underfoot when you're walking to the beach or eating/drink in an outdoor establishment. They eat vegetables so not to worry, you're not part of the food chain.
There are ocean side bars at the beaches, volleyball courts, and the natives are always happy to be of service and very friendly. If you want to keep building your Aruba vacation into the memories of a lifetime, go scuba diving, offshore fishing, windsurfing and paddle boarding, and don't forget to visit Aruba's caves or climb the Haystack!
"Over the past few months things have just taken off. Our domestic PPC Poker Tour is sending players from all over the country and player buzz for this year's PPC Aruba is hot," said Sandy Swartzbaugh, PPC Commissioner. "A solid Main Event guarantee, lots of satellited players, plus Aruba is a winning equation. We've always stated, this isn't just a poker tournament, it's a "Poker-Cation."
In less than three weeks the PPC Aruba World Championship will be underway, booking options are available here.
