Chris "Moorman1" Moorman is less than $30,000 away from $10 million in lifetime online poker earnings and is expected to reach that lofty figure any day now. In addition to that incredible feat, Moorman just launched a brand new interactive website at www.ChrisMoorman.com
"I’m so excited about the launch of the site. It really gives me a chance to be more in touch with my fans and other online players. It also gives me a chance to share more about what is going on in my life in and outside of poker," Moorman said.
Moorman's new website will give readers a view of videos and photos, Moorman's best hands, and the treat of bi-weekly blog posts written by Moorman.
Moorman has plans — you can keep up-to-date with his progress and goals at the new website — to make it back to the top of online poker's premier ranking system once he has reached the $10 million mark. Moorman currently holds the record of cashing in more online poker tournaments than any other player in the world and is the United Kingdom's top ranked online poker player.
"I want to make it back to being the No. 1 ranked player on PocketFives again before the end of the year," Moorman said. "Along with picking up some big titles along the way."
PocketFives.com reported on Wednesday, September 25th, that Moorman was $28,657 short of his $10 million goal with lifetime total cashes of $9,971,343.
"Obviously I would love to reach the $10 million [mark] in style by winning a WCOOP," Moorman told PokerNews.com on Monday. "Hopefully I can break the barrier by the end of the series. With so many big tournaments still to come in the last week I think there is a good possibility I can get it done soon."
Moorman is playing PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker and you can too! There are satellites running now.
