Any time PokerStars puts money on the line, you can pit your wits and skills against the rest of the world and vie for your piece of it. Your latest opportunity to grab a giant chunk of change — $1 Million — was announced today by PokerStars. The Shark Cage is a new TV show where professional poker players, Team PokerStars Pros, and qualifiers are competing for $1 million.

The Shark Cage will include eight heats, and the European Poker Tour events will set the stage for filming each segment, beginning with the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. The final will be held at EPT London but getting there is where all the fun takes place. Five pros and an online qualifier (perhaps you?) are going to play in each heat and battle it out for a seat at the final. The final is where you'll need all your poker skills and the best case of 'run-good' you can find because the player that ends up with all of the chips will become the champion and take home $1,000,000.

Two players can qualify at the PCA which will feature two heats. This is what you can look forward to if you qualify: Round-trip flights to Nassau, a double room at Atlantis Paradise Island, and an $800 room credit.

The PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final will have four heats available and EPT Barcelona will have two.

Get started on your $1,000,000 journey today with the online qualifiers running at PokerStars every day from November 25th-30th at 15:00 EST. The online qualifier tournaments also feature a $5,000 added prize pool. Play your way to the top 50 finishers to qualify for a casting stage audition for the TV show.

If you make it to the top 50, you’ll be invited to send in a video audition and PokerStars tells you right up front what they are looking for, “personality, humor, enthusiasm, and talent, so make sure you impress us!” Start building your game plan now and make sure you come across in the video as a winning contestant, bluff if you have to!

PokerStars requires that all videos submitted must be in English and they must be less than two minutes. Visit The Shark Cage promotion page for more information, including the terms and conditions.
