A 29-year-old man, who doesn't want to be named, was in Monmouth County visiting his parents. The New Jersey man managed to send out a $1.50 online bet and pull back a $153,638.75 payday after he logged into the and took advantage of a free $20 sign-up offer. The jackpot was hit at approximately 1 AM on Tuesday, January 21st, after the man bet $1.50. The mega cash jackpot paid out $153,638.75 which is one of the biggest online jackpots paid in New Jersey history. The unidentified man was at home, in his bedroom, and managed to scoop a massive sum of cash from a very minimal bet.

“I was in utter shock!” According to a press release from Borgata the man exclaimed. “I could not believe what had just happened…I was just staring at the screen in awe.”

“I’ve been coming to Borgata to play poker and black jack with my friends since I turned 21,” the man added. “It was really cool to win online but I will definitely be returning to Atlantic City soon.”
