Unibet offers a fun, new poker client geared for recreation and profit

Unibet New Poker Software
Share this

Unibet just opened the doors to the great game of poker — the way it's meant to be played, mano-a-mano, with a deck of cards for a kicker and a stack of chips as a score card.

If you're ready to take a seat and enjoy the game at Unibet, the newly released software spotlights a simplified lobby with a eye towards the social focus of playing poker where a variety of achievements and missions adds fun and challenge to the game. Relax Gaming developed the Unibet stand-a-alone software for players that want to enjoy the social side of the game.

New players especially will enjoy the new software that includes rich table graphics, 60 different cartoon-like avatars, and a variety of fun missions and achievements. The new design provides an entertaining environment for recreational players who are more accustomed to casino games.

Although Unibet is migrating away from Microgaming with the launch of its standalone poker client, the relationship with the network remains strong and Unibet will continue to utilize Microgaming's casino games. The new poker client is currently available only for dot-com players, with players in Italy and France remaining on the Ongame and iPoker networks.

The new poker software release was initiated to allow a fun and exciting poker experience at Unibet for everyone, but, especially for those new to the game.

Recreational players can change their screen name up to three times per day which is part of Unibet's policy to protect new players. If the pros can't target a player by name, it makes the game much safer for those taking their first step in shark-filled waters. The quick-seat lobby has eliminated bumhunting and makes it fast and easy for players to join their favorite game.

The most noticeable change to most who play regularly is the blocking of HUDs and poker tracking software. Note taking is no longer possible with the new software either. Some of the circling dorsal fins may feel alienated without those aids to help them target prey but the overall changes should produce the recreational ecosystem Unibet is looking for. New and recreational players should have an easier time hanging on to — and building a bankroll — without interference from a bullseye painted on their player ID.

The software is available on PCs and browsers at this time but a Mac client is expected to be released soon, followed by a tablet app.

Unibet has rolled out the welcome mat for loyal players and to show appreciation, players will be rewarded with a free €10! Players in the Netherlands, UK, Belgium, Norway, Finland, and Sweden are eligible for this no-strings-attached offer.

If you are ready for the new game at Unibet, sign up for a Unibet account here at PokerWorks to receive a 100% first deposit bonus up to €500. You'll also be eligible for the free €10 and your bankroll will love you for it.

Head for Unibet now and get in on all the fun and action that's wrapped up in free money and new software — let the recreational player in you out to play!
