partypoker came back to the United States on November 23, 2013, when they launched in New Jersey. A few months later — four to be exact — partypoker is rapidly approaching dealing the 30,000,000th hand.
partypoker puts a capital "C" on the word celebrate and this special occasion landmark at NJ.partypoker.com will give away more than $40,000 to players in the Garden State. The hand that starts the celebration is number 25,000,000. From there partypoker will count down every five million hands to the 30,000,000th one dealt. The winner of each milestone hand (25,000,000-29,900,000) during countdown will take home $1,000 and the other players dealt in at the table will receive $100 each. The winner of the 30,000,000th hand will take $10,000 — along with the pot — and everyone else at the table will score a $1,000 cash prize.
“In just three months, partypoker has become the home for online poker in New Jersey,” said Team partypoker captain Mike Sexton. “Now we’re just about to hit our 30-millionth hand and we’re making it more exciting than ever to play on partypoker. But the only way to win is to play!”
Although partypoker's traffic is on the rise, the 30-millionth-hand promotion will no doubt keep adding new players to the mix. This last Sunday’s $100K Guaranteed brought a record 782 players to the tables to build a prize pool of $145,410. The real-money ring games are also showing solid numbers. PokerScout reports that the current seven-day average is 240 players online during the same time period and peak numbers are close to double that amount.
