Everest Poker just announced that Britain's top poker pro, Sam Trickett has been signed as a brand ambassador for the online poker room. Trickett holds the position of No. 2 on the all-time money list and in his home country of England, he is No.1. Trickett also won the Best Live Tournament Player and Best Live Cash Player at the recent British Poker Awards.

Trickett has opened up a new venture in his poker career with his role at Everest Poker. Along with playing in some of the world's biggest cash games and tournaments, he will play Everest Poker Live events and work with the Everest Poker team in London providing coaching. Another feature of his new venture will be blogging and providing video updates from the World Series of Poker and other circuit stops.

Trickett had this to say: “I’m very excited to be joining Everest Poker. I’m looking forward to interacting with our players online and at Everest Poker Live events, where I’ll be playing and coaching. Everest is a great poker brand and I will be doing everything I can to make it one of the most recognized in the world.”

Everest Poker users have a massive opportunity with Trickett's offer to share in 10 percent of his winnings at the 2014 WSOP — his plan is to play in 20 to 30 bracelet events. The $1 Million Big One for One Drop is also on Trickett's list for the WSOP but One Drop is not available in the 10 percent share. Trickett earned $10,112,001 when he finished runner-up to Antonio Esfandiari in that event in 2012.

"We want to encourage players to get behind Sam’s quest for a first bracelet this summer," Des Duffy's, director for Everest Poker, statement said. "With Sam’s consistent record of cashing at high profile tournaments there could be a huge amount of value on the table. Plus we’ll capture the atmosphere of Las Vegas through a series of video blogs that Sam will be recording during the series. I think for players who can’t make it to Las Vegas themselves, having a share in Sam Trickett will be the next best thing.”

Adding to the excitement of the offer to players to sweat his successes and earn a possible share, Trickett also made a promise to a woman that plays a very special role in his life by telling her that he would win a WSOP event.

“It’ll make the Vegas grind a lot easier to know I have a lot of players following my progress this year," said Trickett. "I’ve promised my mum a bracelet and will be doing my very best to score big for everyone who’ll own a share in me.”
