Full Tilt Poker is in full celebration mode with the recent launch of the brand new Flipout Tournaments and to keep with the tradition of celebrating, a live Flipout Freeroll will be held on Day 1a of the European Poker Tour Vienna Main Event, Saturday, March 22nd. One lucky player will win an EPT Vienna Main Event seat which is an entry worth €5,300. That entry could become a bundle of cash that stacks up to over a million dollars.
How the Flipout Freeroll works:
The live Flipout Freeroll takes three tables at a time that will "flip" and three individual winners will be left standing when the smoke clears. That is going to happen three separate times and the beginning of the end will have nine winners ready to play the final table in a standard tournament format where all players that have made it that far will earn prizes — the winner will receive the €5,300 Main Event ticket.
Gus Hansen and Viktor Blom — Full Tilt Poker Professionals — along with Full Tilt Poker Ambassadors Hana Soljan, Dermot Blain, Roberta Cezarescu, and Andras Nemeth, will be playing the event.
Eugene Katchalov and Martin Hruby — Team PokerStars Pros — and PokerStars Team Online's Dale Philip, Mickey Petersen, Matthias Brandner, and Marc-Andre Ladouceur will be right there in the competition also. The event has an 81-player cap. Only 69 seats remain in the event after the 12 professionals mentioned take their seats.
The Hofburg Palace in Vienna will be open to take registrations for the remaining seats on March 22nd from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets for this freeroll can be picked up by players during that time. Obviously, every one wants to play the freeroll and have an opportunity to parlay it into a cash score in the European Poker Tour Vienna Main Event so to narrow the field down to the remaining seats, there will be a lottery when registration closes. Look for the seat draw to be published at 11:10 AM on the day of the event kicks off — Sunday, March 23rd.
Final table players are all guaranteed prizes and if the winner has already won or purchased a Vienna Main Event seat, they will be reimbursed €5,300.
