Summer High Roller Series and Bellagio Cup X schedule announced

The schedule for the Bellagio Cup X has been released by the Bellagio Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. With the announcement came news of the Summer High Roller series. Bellagio hosts some of the best and highest poker action in the world and over May and June will spread six $10,200 buy-in events that welcome all comers. The events will each be a one-day competition and are scheduled as follows:

  • Thursday, May 29 at 12 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 1 at 12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 4 at 12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 11 at 12 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 24 at 12 p.m.
  • Friday, June 27 at 12 p.m.

The Bellagio Cup X is set to take place on July 10-15 with a $10,300 buy-in. On Wednesday, July 9 at 12 p.m. a $1,080 super satellite will take place and July 9 at 12 p.m. and Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m will put cards in the air for a $5,180 side event. The one-day super satellite will send as many players as possible to the Bellagio Cup.

According to the statement, players can register for The Bellagio Cup until the start of the 12th level of play — approximate time 3:30 p.m. — on Saturday, July 12. Excluding the championship event, all events are set run with a reentry format through the first six levels.

David Peters and Jason Koon made a deal in last year's Bellagio Cup IX with Peters taking home $355,093 and the top-honor when the battle for first place ended. Koon stacked a nice parting gift in the amount of $316,000. The prize pool grew to $1,328,900 after 137 runners took to the tables.
