PokerStars announced plans on Wednesday for the upcoming 100th European Poker Tour (EPT) — the celebration of another fantastic milestone takes place in Barcelona, Spain, and is the debut event of Season 11. The poker festival will join with the national Estrellas Poker Tour again, and a total of 43 events are going to keep the heat and the action focused at the tables from August 16th to the 27th, 2014, in the Casino Barcelona.

Barcelona is one of the only events to appear on all 10 seasons on the tour schedule. And PokerStars never lets any anniversary, event, or milestone slip by without a celebration! It's a must-attend so get ready to celebrate with PokerStars!

"Season 10 was such a huge success that we are very excited about the 100th EPT in Barcelona," said EPT president Edgar Stuchly. "It’s going to be a historic event and we are looking forward to welcoming thousands of players to Casino Barcelona to take part."

The 2014 EPT Barcelona will offer a large number of events with a wide range of buy-ins.

The EPT Barcelona will carry new events along with the Estrellas €1,100 Main Event and the EPT €5,300 Main Event. The new events are the €200 and €1k Seniors Events (for ages 50-plus), and an exciting €48,500+€1,500 Super High Roller tournament that is expected to bring in some of the poker world's best players from around the globe. Also new on the schedule is a €200 Ladies event, a €1k PLO Hi/Lo Championship event, a €1k Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Championship, and a €1k No Limit Omaha Hi/Lo Championship – all will be 8-handed.
