Phil Hellmuth has 13 World Series of Poker bracelets and if you haven't followed his storied poker career, you're really missing out on some insane Tweets, crazy outfits and late entrances to poker tournaments, and his ability to always market matter what the venue. So it was no surprise to most of the poker world when he tweeted a picture of himself at a commercial shoot for the fast-food chain Carl’s Jr.

The Tweet was sent out in April and the commercial is now on the air.

The commercial has Hellmuth trying to appear as if he's incredibly focused with a mouth-watering desire to bite into that big bad Texas BBQ Thickburger. The Carl’s Jr. website, describes the ½ lb. Texas BBQ Thickburger as “a 1/2lb. Charbroiled Black Angus Beef Patty, American Cheese, Smoked Brisket, Mesquite BBQ Sauce and Crispy Fried Jalapeno & Onions on a Fresh Baked Bun.”

Back in 2008 Hellmuth was featured in a Milwaukee’s Best Light campaign. Ever the one to look for new opportunities to promote the Hellmuth bandwagon, he's also a relentless name dropper and gives away the majority of his gold bracelets.

The Hellmuth commercial:

Before you get ready to chomp into one of those Thickburgers, go run a few miles and plan to run a few more after eating it, plus give up food for the rest of the day if you're trying to put a lid on your calorie intake. They weigh in at 1,260 calories and 79 grams of fat.
