If you are as big a poker fan as we are, you'll want to have your tush planted in your favorite seat, your most loved beverage captured in the arm that bends at the elbow and has autopilot programmed in straight for your lips, the channel set, the phone turned off, and no interruptions as you get ready to watch Sunday night’s airing of the first episodes of the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event on ESPN. The action starts at 09:00 PM ET on September 28th — yes, we know we said Sunday but we also want to make sure you know which Sunday — so don't miss it. The first two hour-long episodes are running back-to-back. Each Sunday through November 9th, the schedule will be the same.
Kick back and watch as Phil Ivey makes a deep run, cringe when Paul Pierce just misses out on a cash, and prepare to feel the emotion and jubilation of the dreams that were taking place in the cacophony of chip clatter and table chatter in the 2014 WSOP Main Event run for a champion!
On November 10th and 11th, the race to see who will be crowned the WSOP Main Event champion at the final table will take place with live hand-for-hand coverage. You can catch it on our sister site, PokerNews.com and through live television coverage on ESPN.
The WSOP.com will also be hosting a special "Main Event Play Along" promotion for online players in New Jersey and Nevada.
New Jersey fans of the WSOP can play on the WSOP.com at 09:00 PM ET in a special $10 rebuy and add-on tournament that packs a $2,500 guarantee. Nevada players can get in action at 06:00 PM PT and play for a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool with the same $10 buy-in.
Are you ready for the November Nine? We are! Prepare for poker and all the emotion and glory that goes with it when you tune in to ESPN on Sunday night!
