Have you ever taken a seat in a poker game where you were convinced the players seated with you all had dorsal fins? Is there an advantage to being a minnow when you're facing off with some of the world's best players? Perhaps. If the same players play against each other day after day, even moving up limits together over the years, is their play as optimal as it should be or do they start to grow callouses over their senses and lose a key part of their game. Let's check on The Shark Cage, clues may be hidden in plain sight in PokerStars TV poker game.

The Shark Cage - PokerStars Latest Edition of the TV Poker Game

The Shark Cage is set to delight and entertain with the latest edition bringing Miss Finland 2012 Sara Chafak, Ronnie Bardah, Kara Scott, Eugene Katchalov, Jean-Robert Bellande - Mr. Broke Living himself, and another qualifier to the competition to add some spice to the mix. Beat that combination on high speed and get ready to watch the fireworks when you pour it onto the green felt.

Episode 7 finds JRB directly to the left of Miss Finland. Enjoy!

World Cup Betting Case Goes to Trial

High-stakes poker pro Paul “MalACEsia” Phua, 50, and his son Darren, 23, were charged, along with others, with illegal gambling involving the 2014 World Cup. Phua and son Darren plan to go to trial while other defendants in the case, Richard Yong, Hui Tang, Yan Zhang, Yung Keung Fan and Herman Chun Sang Yeung will plead guilty. Charges against Yong’s son, Wai Kin Yong have been dropped.

Richard Schonfeld and David Chesnoff represent Phua and his son who maintain their innocence and plan on fighting the charges.

According to reports the FBI raided an illegal World Cup gambling operation back in July in Las Vegas and when the criminal complaint was served, the authorities claimed Phua was a high-ranking member of Hong Kong's 14K Triad. A number of well-known poker players bailed out and supported Phua — Phil Ivey, Andrew Robl, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, and John Juanda.
