PokerStars players on .com; .eu; and .uk clients are able to play casino games, which include blackjack, Baccarat, roulette, and casino Hold'em games, on the PokerStars 7 client — against live dealers — according to an announcement made on Wednesday by PokerStars.

Evolution Gaming is one of the industry leaders in casino gaming and provides the same service to Full Tilt, along with others. Evolution gaming and PokerStars have obviously formed a partnership to make this launch possible.

"Live dealer games appeal to a broad array of players who enjoy the added level of authenticity and trust that comes from seeing the action occur in the analogue world," from Sam Hobcraft, Director of Casino at PokerStars. "Players will enjoy the convenience of playing poker, casino, and live casino games in the same place, with the same protection of player funds, the same fast payment processing, and the same trust that they have come to expect from PokerStars."

Hobcraft went on to say that a studio located in Riga, Latvia is the setting for the live casino interaction and gives players the chance to "enjoy the ability to chat and interact with the attractive dealers in a PokerStars-branded environment."

PokerStars press release builds momentum for the new PokerStars-branded live casino due to its being the first in the world to offer the Immersive Lite Roulette, an innovative product created by Evolution Gaming. The product uses multiple high-definition cameras positioned around the table and dealer in a Hollywood-style studio setup.

"Close-up views and auto-cutting sequences allow players to enjoy a dynamic and involving live gaming experience as they follow every spin of the wheel and movement of the ball," the press release continues. "The multi-camera installation and visual presentation of the live roulette game — including cutaway shots to other tables to heighten the live casino atmosphere — have been customized to meet the needs of PokerStars."
