With the blinds at 200/400 and an ante of 50, Bradley “Brad” Craig finds himself with 450 chips. It's just enough to cover the big blind and ante. Without doubt, his dream is over. Yes, there's the old adage of a chip and a chair, but honestly how many times do you actually hear of someone coming back on day one of the Main Event with just one big blind to win? Or even make it into the money for that matter? It requires an inordinate amount of luck because of the stack size of the player to survive the countless all-ins they will undoubtedly face.Fast Forward to Day 5.

I get to the Rio about 10 a.m. and find out soon after that Nichoel Peppe, the young woman I spent the day with the previous day, is going to be at the secondary feature table to begin the day. I had gotten her and her husband's cell phone numbers the night before and not wanting to bother Nichoel as she got ready for play, I called Tad's number. He answers after a few rings.“Tell your girl to put her best makeup on,” I say.“Feature table?” he asks.“You got it,” I tell him.“Nice,” he says. “Thanks for telling us! We'll see you in a bit.

When I went to law school, I wanted to be the next Jerry Maguire. It was my dream to represent athletes, musicians, actors, and anyone else in the entertainment industry. Poker took over my life and I kind of forgot all about those aspirations. As I've worked in the poker world the last few years though, I've had the opportunity to witness first hand some people that are relatively unknown to the large majority... the poker agent. Agents probably get a worse rap than they should. It's probably because a lot of what they do reminds people of a used car salesman.

I had seen Nichoel Peppe the previous few days of the Main Event and each time I walked by her table, I noticed her chip stack growing. I watched one hand on day 4 where she check raised her aggressive male counterpart and got him to fold. I thought to myself, “I need to keep an eye on this one.” I'm a shy person by nature so it took me a little while to approach her and start a conversation. One day to be precise. I finally got up the nerve to start a conversation with her shortly after Day 5 began.I tapped her lightly on her shoulder. She turned and looked at me.“Hi,” I said.

Matt Graham has had a good year, and that's putting it mildly. It all started on July 1 of 2008 when he took down his first bracelet in the Limit Hold Em Shootout. In December, he won an event at the Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic and took home 320K. Now he's added a 2nd WSOP bracelet to his wrist, besting the best Pot Limit Omaha players in the world in the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship and winning a staggering $679,402.

Eric “Basebaldy” Baldwin has been a fixture on the live tournament circuit in addition to being a big player in the major online tournaments for quite some time now. He's had a big year thus far with wins at the WPT Bellagio in a preliminary event and the Venetian Deep Stack main event, but those wins paled in comparison to the bracelet he won last night at the World Series of Poker and the over half a million dollars that he took home.I've known Eric for the better part of four years now.

Day two of the latest $1,500 No Limit Hold Em event saw the legendary 11 time Phil Hellmuth in position to make another run at another bracelet. The players entered action just short of the money and I decided to spend the day watching Hellmuth. I thought it would be interesting for readers to see what Hellmuth is like when the cameras aren't on him. People have always told me that I have a love-hate relationship with Hellmuth... in that I love to hate him. I wouldn't say that I hate him, but I definitely don't agree with the way he behaves sometimes.
